Tutor Time Child Care Learning Center

Our Tutor Time Child Care Learning Center provides the highest standards of child care and early childhood education. We cater to children ages six weeks to six years of age. We offer:

  • An extensive educational and developmental curriculum
  • State-of-the-art learning and play facilities

  • Nutritious meals and snacks

Suffolk County Family Court Children’s Nursery

Our Suffolk County Family Court Children’s Nursery is dedicated to quality child care for children whose parents are tied up in family court. We offer:

  • Quality child care
  • Toys and games
  • Nutritious snacks
  • Information and referrals

Montauk Child Care

Our Montauk Child Care Center provides the highest standards of child care and early childhood education. We cater to children ages six weeks to six years of age. We offer:

Family Development Programs

Our Family Development Programs can empower individuals to recognize obstacles and develop goals that can enable them to:

Wyandanch Weed and Seed

Our Weed and Seed program is a Department of Justice initiative which employs strategies that are community based in a comprehensive multi-agency approach to law enforcement, crime prevention and community revitalization that affects the quality of life in the Wyandanch community.

 

Mental Retardation and Disabilities Services

Youth & Family Services

  1. Medicaid Service Coordination – Medicaid Service Coordination is a person-centered program provided by qualified personnel for people with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities.  Our highly educated and experience Service Coordinators offer services and supports to our consumers and their families.  Medicaid Service Coordination assists in the development, implementation, and monitoring a person’s individualized Service Plan (ISP)  At EOC, we offer multiple case management services that include assessment, service planning, service referral, coordination of services, advocacy and outreach. EOC Service Coordination promotes:  Choice, Individualized Services and Support, consumer satisfaction.
  2. Respite Services – The EOC’s Respite/Recreation Programs are designed to enhance the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.  It does this by involving individuals in activities that are both fund and education. 
    • Respite/Recreation - Through participation in recreational activities, individuals also have the opportunity to increase their socialization skills.  In addition to focusing on individuals with developmental disabilities, the Respite/Recreation Program provides a health “time out” for the parents of these individuals so that they may focus more readily upon their own needs.  The Respite/Recreation Program is developed around the participant’s interests and capabilities.
    • Summer Fiesta – This is an innovative program.  The summer fiesta program is a 2-week minicamp session that runs during the last week in July and first week in August.  This is a well received and anticipated service provided by EOC to our existing consumers and also opened to new consumers as well.
  3. Residential Habilitation Service – In-Home Res-Hab is a HCBS Waiver Service that provides individuals supports and services in their own home, whether they live independently or with their families.  The services focus on developing life skills and community integration.  The supports provided are based on individual needs.
  4. Individual Support Services (ISS) – ISS is higher level of residential opportunity provided to individuals with developmental disabilities.  This grant offers individuals who need minimal supports the opportunity to live more independent lives in their community.  The ISS Grant offers individuals a monthly subsidy based on personal living expenses and is used to supplement their income which provides an opportunity to live in their own apartment in the community.  Addition services and supports may include in-home residential services and assistance with budgeting cooking and other activities of daily life.

Eligibility for Service

  • To meet eligibility for these programs an individual must meet the OMRDD criteria for services:
  • A medical report and a diagnosis of a named developmental disability
  • Psychological report including assessment of intellectual functioning reporting intelligence scores and for people with IQ’s above 60, assessment of adaptive behavioral reporting scale and summary scores that fall below 70.

Housing Programs

Our Housing program is Fannie Mae and FHA approved. We offer:

  • Housing Counseling that include budget and credit education
  • Affordable Housing for eligible homebuyers
  • First Home Club that provide down payment assistance
  • Reverse mortgage counseling and foreclosure prevention services




HIV/AIDS program

Our HIV/AIDS program is professional, effective and compassionate.We maintain a warm, inviting atmosphere where individuals are treated with respect and dignity and where confidentiality and trust are our top priorities. All our services are confidential and free. We offer:

  • Intensive and comprehensive case management
  • Transportation
  • Prevention and outreach services
