Mortgage Default & Foreclosure Prevention Program

This program provides mortgage counseling for homeowners who are having difficulty maintaining their mortgage. The program is designed to assist homeowners in understanding the complex foreclosure process, help review options and identify possible courses of action to bring a mortgage current.

Certified foreclosure prevention counselors will discuss loss mitigation options, financial, and legal resources available to the homeowner.

Comprehensive Housing Counseling

Individuals and families can achieve their dream of homeownership through the Comprehensive Housing Counseling Program. It provides one-to-one homeownership counseling, group counseling, as well as budget and credit counseling. Convenient online counseling is also available at http://ehomeamerica.org/eoc-suffolk.
