HUD COC Rapid Rehousing Program

EOC of Suffolk’s Rapid Rehousing (RRH) Program aims to help participants and their families who are homeless, transition back to permanent housing within their community as quickly as possible.

The RRH Program is designed to assist households in addressing and overcoming barriers to obtaining and maintaining permanent housing, thereby reducing the time they experience homelessness. Households will be assessed for initial assistance, which may include Supportive Services, Housing Supports, Case Management, and Employment Assistance, all with a focus on long-term housing retention.

This program is intended for individuals and families who, after receiving temporary rental assistance (short- to medium-term support), can live independently and afford rent once the program term ends. Financial assistance will be provided to eligible households on a case-by-case basis.
