The goal of the SSVF program is to provide veterans with the resources and support needed to achieve long-term housing stability and self-sufficiency.
Meet Mr. Martin Wirth, a proud US Air Force Veteran whose resilience shines brightly.
After the heartbreaking loss of his wife to COVID-19, Martin faced mounting rent struggles despite his best efforts and steady income from Social Security and a pension.
With the help of SSVF, Martin conquered his rent arrears and secured a HUD VASH voucher, allowing him to move into permanent housing. His journey from hardship to stability is a testament to his unwavering spirit and determination, inspiring us all with his courage and perseverance.
