The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program prevents homelessness by helping very low-income Veterans and their families gain access to the resources they need in order to successfully transition to, or maintain, permanent housing.

- Peer support/outreach services through Suffolk County United Veterans
- Assistance obtaining VA and other public benefits
- Healthcare Navigation
- Other supportive services/temporary financial assistance
