Kudos to Ben Harper, a Program Coordinator with our Community Based Initiative, who with the developers of Gleneagle Green at Bellport -- a new affordable housing project -- is working to maximize the number of local construction workers on the job.
Congratulations to Magali Roman, Program Coordinator with our Community Based Initiative, who with 20 members of My Brother's Keeper, a student club at Brentwood High School, partnered with Pronto and Adelante to distribute hundreds of free meals, canned food, hand sanitizer, and stacks of clothing for area homeless.
Congratulations to our own Lance Cpl. StaceyAnn Castro-Tapler, USMC, OIF, OEF, an employment specialist with our Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program, on being recognized by the Long Island Advance for her service to our nation.
Kudos to Jose Veliz, our Family Development Program Director, who was an honoree at the Town of Babylon's 22nd Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Festival. Jose was recognized for his dedication to the Babylon community through his work at EOC of Suffolk, Inc.
Congratulations to Therese Salerno, EOC of Suffolk’s newest HUD Certified Housing Counselor. She is among a select group who have passed the extremely rigorous HUD Housing Counseling Certification Exam, allowing her to continue to provide a variety of housing counseling services to Long Islanders.

Augustine Sciabarassi presented as a guest speaker at the 7th International Conference on HIV/AIDS, STDs and STIs. The conference was held in NY, NY on March 18-19, 2019. He spoke on HIV stigma and discrimination: Removing barriers to service and healthcare.
