Affordable and accessible child care is a critical issue facing families, communities, and the workforce. Recognizing that child care is not just a women’s issue, Governor Cuomo assembled the Child Care Availability Task Force because it is a societal and economic issue that touches every family, in every community, regardless of neighborhood or economic status. We urge you to review this report to find out ways you can best access the state’s child care system.
At the Montauk Childcare Center, your child’s curriculum is based on age appropriate learning objectives. Our curriculum integrates areas such as:
- Creative expression
- Social and emotional development, to make learning meaningful and fun for all children.
The Montauk Childcare Center values your role as a parent and believes that working together is the best way to support your child’s healthy growth and development. That’s why every child goes home with a Communication-Gram that tells parents about their child’s day.
Your child will be offered many activities that provide intellectual stimulation and foster self-reliance and social responsibility, including:
- Self-initiated program
- Group initiated program
- Staff-initiated program
- Indoor/outdoor activities
The staff at Montauk Childcare Center are passionate about your child’s happiness and growth and provide a safe, nurturing environment that cultivates self-esteem.
Our low teacher-to-student ratios allow staff to focus on the individual learning styles and needs of each child in our center.
We strive to form a strong partnership with parents to ensure the best possible experience for your child.
